My Story

For the last 10 years I've worked in veterinary medicine fulfilling my love for animals. I started as a veterinary assistant in exotics pet medicine. After a few years I decided to pursue my license in veterinary medicine. After 2 years of veterinary technology schooling I gained an Associates degree in Science, successfully passed my NC State and National Board Exams and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2021. I've gained experience with exotic pets, in emergency hospitals, and in general practice clinics with cats and dogs.

I have recently decided to step back into the the world of education. I started my Data Analytics studies with Career Foundry in July 2024. The world of data is very complex and interesting and I've learned so much that I didn't know existed. I've developed skills in Excel, Tableau,  Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python. I've even scratched the surface of Machine Learning. In July 2025, I successfully completed the Data Analytics Program with Career Foundry.

I hope to use my analytic skills to further help the veterinary industry. I strive to support pet product companies to ensure our pets continue to get the care they deserve. I'm also interested in areas such as wildlife conservation, music, gaming and law enforcement.
